Francesca D’Aquila-Kelly joined the Commercial Litigation and Insurance Litigation groups at Beard Winter LLP following her Call to the Bar in 2018. She previously summered and articled with the firm. Francesca has a diverse practice, which includes both commercial and tort disputes. She also has experience representing clients in environmental and regulatory matters.

Francesca graduated in 2017 from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and holds a Criminology Degree from York University. While completing her law degree, Francesca served as Student Coordinator of the Peer Mentorship Program, was Club President of Windsor Law in Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted, and was a Teaching Assistant in the area of Constitutional Law. She received the J.W. Whiteside award in recognition of her efforts in servicing the Faculty of Law and the legal community.
Francesca has a demonstrated knowledge of Privacy Tort Litigation. Her paper, “A Plea for Privacy: A Call to Preserve Ontario’s Protection Against Revenge Porn” was published in the 4th edition of Windsor Law Review’s Digital Companion.
In her spare time, Francesca enjoys improving her culinary skills in the kitchen, exploring Toronto’s restaurant scene, and skiing the slopes of Blue Mountain.
