Gloria joined Beard Winter LLP after articling with the firm.
Her practice at Beard Winter includes a variety of matters spanning insurance litigation, general corporate matters, and family law. Gloria is a member of the Insurance Bureau of Canada’s legal advisory panel on automated vehicles.
Gloria grew up in British Columbia and attended Simon Fraser University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government in 2011. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2015 and was the recipient of the Cassels Brock & Blackwell Centennial Prize in Practice Skills.
During her time in law school, Gloria was a student litigator at Legal Assistance of Windsor and represented clients at various administrative tribunals and the Tax Court of Canada. She was a semi-finalist at the Canadian Client Consultation Competition in 2014 and coached the Windsor Law team to the finals in the following year. Additionally, she spent a summer as the legal intern for UNICEF China in Beijing and participated in advocacy for legislative reform in multiple areas impacting children around the globe.
Gloria is fluent in Mandarin, a Vancouver Canucks fan, and enjoys cooking and musical theatre.
