We are seeking a Litigation Assistant to join our Insurance Defence Litigation group.

In addition to having at least four years of demonstrated work experience in the area of insurance litigation (Tort and AB/LAT experience), the ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience managing a busy litigation practice;
  • Have exceptional organizational and time management skills;
  • Be flexible, time conscious, deadline oriented and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities;
  • Be resourceful, including good problem solving skills;
  • Be a professional individual who works well under pressure;
  • Have a solid client service approach;
  • Function easily in a customized MS Word, ACL and DMS environment; and
  • Have the ability to work independently with little supervision, but appreciate the benefits of being part of a team

The anticipated base annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $75,000.00. This range represents the anticipated compensation for the position in compliance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may fall above or below this range, depending on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, market conditions, and internal equity. Final compensation will be confirmed upon completion of the recruitment process.
