Loretta returned to the firm as an associate following her Call to the Bar in June 2013 after her experiences as a summer student and successfully completing her articles. She practices in the area of civil litigation and is a member of the Insurance Group, with an emphasis on defence. Loretta’s areas of focus include motor vehicle accident tort claims, accident benefits claims, property damage claims, subrogation claims, priority disputes, coverage matters, and occupiers’ liability claims. She has represented her clients at various levels of Ontario courts, including Small Claims Court, Superior Court, Divisional Court, FSCO Arbitrations, and administrative tribunals, and also regularly assists senior counsel with complex insurance litigation claims.

While attending Osgoode Hall Law School, Loretta was the Student Coordinator for the Osgoode chapter of the Civil Litigation Project and volunteered her time at the Toronto Small Claims Court. During her undergraduate years, Loretta worked towards her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology at the University of Toronto (with a minor in both Political Science and Italian) while playing varsity soccer, earning the Rookie of the Year award and ultimately becoming co-captain. Loretta takes advantage of every opportunity to travel and has studied abroad several times while working towards both her Bachelor and Law Degrees.
