Mark Birdsell is a partner at Beard Winter and a member of the firm’s Insurance Litigation group. Mark received his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2009. Mark focuses on taking proactive steps to advance the litigation and the interests of his clients. This ensures that Mark’s clients are placed in an advantageous position, whether that be in terms of resolution and settlement, or moving matters towards trial.
Mark also works as a mediator. He has extensive experience handling various types of insurance claims, both for plaintiffs and defendants. Mark believes that despite the adversarial nature of litigation, mediation gives the parties an opportunity to have an honest and confidential conversation about the issues in dispute.
