Sean Chambers

Sean Chambers is a partner in Beard Winter’s Insurance Litigation group. He acts primarily for insurers defending claims involving personal injury, commercial general liability, occupiers’ liability, commercial host liability, and accident benefits. He also acts for insurance brokers in professional negligence claims and school boards in relation to a wide variety of alleged misadventures.

Taking a pragmatic, measured approach, Sean focuses on achieving client objectives in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

He has appeared before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Sean attended law school at Queen’s University after obtaining a degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto. While at Queen’s, he received the Canada Law Book Prize in Torts.

In his spare time, Sean enjoys running and cycling carefully through the city.
