Beard Winter LLP welcomes two new litigators to the firm
Beard Winter LLP is pleased to welcome our newest lawyers to the firm. We look forward to having David Morawetz and Matthew Samuels continue to build their practices at the firm and serve a variety of clients.
David Morawetz is a member of Beard Winter’s Commercial Litigation group. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014 after attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Before joining the firm, David practised at a boutique litigation firm in Vaughan and a mid-size firm in Toronto known for construction law and civil litigation. David’s civil and commercial litigation practice is focused on contract law, real estate disputes, construction law and employment law. David can be reached at dmorawetz@beardwinter.com.
Matthew Samuels is a member of Beard Winter’s Insurance Litigation group. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 after attending Osgoode Hall Law School. Before joining the firm, Matthew articled at a prominent Toronto insurance defence boutique providing services to several of Canada’s top insurance firms. He helps clients defend a variety of insurance law disputes including personal injury, occupier’s liability, product liability and property damage. Matt can be reached at msamuels@beardwinter.com.
