David Decker

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and former partner David Alan Decker after a lengthy illness on January 25, 2023.

For more than 40 years, David was a partner at Beard Winter LLP practising commercial and general litigation.  He was a life-long learner.  In addition to his LLB from Queen’s University, he also completed his master’s degree in banking and financial services at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Highly respected by his professional colleagues and clients, David served on the executive of the Civil Litigation Section of the Ontario Bar Association for several years.

Infinitely kind and always humble, David worked with integrity, frequently supporting those who were unable to secure professional legal services.  

We will miss David.

A funeral service will be held at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Toronto on Thursday, February 9 at 11:00 am.
